Hunter Douglas sheer shadings are so versatile that Hunter Douglas has created three different styles to suit practically any home. The other two sheer shade styles--Silhouette® and Pirouette®--are crafted in a horizontal style, similar to horizontal blinds. Luminette® shades, however, are created in a vertical style. How do you operate Luminette® shades?
Hunter Douglas Luminette® shades are operated very similarly to vertical blinds, but with added functionality. The flexible fabric vanes of Luminette® shades are easily opened and closed to increase or decrease the natural light that is allowed into your home. While the fabric panels of your Luminette® shades will diffuse natural light, you can also easily push your shades to the side to achieve a completely unobscured window.
