"I had never worked with an interior decorator before so I asked my daughter's decorator, who works in Northern Virginia, for a recommendation. She gave me Anne Fitch's name. I called Anne and we began working together. Anne spent a great deal of time with me to find out what I wanted my home to look like. "She has designed custom window coverings for several rooms, each unique in their own way with embellishments and trims yet cohesive with our traditional decor and lifestyle. The kitchen and family room were our first project, the end result being spectacular and resulted in several more design projects! I am so glad I listened to her recommendation to wallpaper the foyer. The richness of the colors in the paper and difference in texture to paint has added a depth and dimension I did not anticipate! The foyer’s window treatment is the crown jewel for this space. Fabrics of different type, color and texture were used in the design. The colors of the paper blend perfectly with the fabrics, all tied nicely together with oversized tassels and trim. The sunroom was our indulgence. We added two small upholstered barrel chairs from Unusual Designs that coordinate well with the window treatments done in purple with turquoise banding with multi colored trim. Gorgeous!
